Mushrooms in the forest near Moscow, Russia

These photos were taken by my mom. In Russia in the autumn in the woods there are a lot of wild mushrooms. Russians love to gather (to hunt!) mushrooms, then to cook them. Salted or marinated mushrooms are very good appetizer. Especially popular white mushrooms – boletus, but no less popular honey fungus that grow on old stumps and fallen trees.

We pick-up apples and peaches at Wightmans’ Farms, Morristown, NJ. We were here before 4 times, very good friendly place.

Sunny room renovation

Ok, it was our first time painting. It’s really fun and easy, besides small details. It took us a week (with breaks) to do all this job – choose color, buy paint and actually paint.
