Pt. Pleasant Beach, NJ – Motel

We had a vacation at Jersey shore. They Restored Shore! Pt. Pleasant Beach, NJ looks very good. Many houses are with traces of Sandy, but most with traces of construction work. Town is alive and well.

Boardwalk, its whole mile, is restored, beaches are clean, amusement park and arcades – bright and fun. Most food places are open. We were here during weekdays and not in the peak of season, so it was not crowded (except July 4).

We stayed in Windswept Motel, in Seascape suits with beautiful ocean view and parking space. The room with two queen beds was big, bright, clean and the service was great. Ocean water was cool but the motel has a nice and clean swimming-pool (with ocean view). Motel has their own beach which we visited every time, with our free (from motel) beach-passes. It’s on the right side of the beach you see from the room window, so you need to walk to it couple minutes.

Our room balcony was on the second floor, second on the right. I’m not sure – a flower bed in the sand because of Sandy or it always has been here.

Construction work at the nearby White Sands. Red flag means – ocean is not safe.
